Teacher Appreciation: iTunes Gift Card

IMG_7464
OK, I need your input. Does this card work or not? I am a huge fan of the gift card printables that eighteen25 kindly shared last year on their blog. Eighteen25 created one that says “thanks a latte” which I’ve made and gifted a number of times. They also shared a printable with the theme of “You Rock” that goes along with an iTunes gift card from I Am Momma Hear Me Roar. So this year for teacher appreciation week I thought I’d try my own with a play on words: I thought the “app” part of “appreciation” might pair well with an iTunes card. A novice at photo editing and clipart, I gave this my best attempt and liked it, but when I showed my husband, he didn’t catch the link that I was going for with iTunes and apps. Once I explained it, he thought it was a good idea but I am not convinced.

I know I am graphically challenged. I don’t have a good eye to visually pull things together—whether it be a room, an outfit or maybe even this printable! But I like the concept enough that I am sharing it with you in hopes that someone will have a suggestion as to how I can improve on this image. There are still a few weeks until Teacher Appreciation time at our school so I have time for improvement.  I’d love your feedback!

If you would like the printable (without my watermark) please click here. I tried to make it a 5 x 7 but am new at formatting photos in PicMonkey so hopefully it worked out ok. I'd love to hear if you use this for your teachers!

appreciated

  4. Holly - I get it! It's a great gift idea! My husband wouldn't get it either, but I think a teacher would! Our teachers are always asking for these now with the presence of IPADS in the classroom! Adding to Pinterest!
