Making calzones at home is easy with this simple recipe.
Prepare the Dough
You can mix by hand with a wooden spoon or use a stand mixer to prepare the dough. It will be shaggy and rough at first.

The dough will need two rising periods. Plan ahead so that you have enough time to let the dough develop.
